Imagine a big striper, yellowfin, teeth-dog-tuna, red carp, barracuda, tarpon, dorado or GT blowing up on your topwater.
In order for that to happen, your lure has got to kick up a ton of water, calling attention to itself with every pop, twitch and chug.
That´s what the POP-A-LOG topwater lure is all about.
Noisy and irresistible, it is made from strong Jelutong hardwood, as all the HART “woodies” series.
With thru-wire construction to ensure its lasting effectiveness, fish after fish.
Rigged with Extra-Strong (4X) Saltwater Tinned treble hooks.
Stainless steel super strong rings with 3 loops.
Woodies Series: The best raw materials, the best craftsmen
The best Wooden lures.
For the development of our HART WOODEN SERIES - HART’s WOODIES - we have looked for a hardwood with special properties: low humidity absorption degree, trunk’s stable density, easy to work in almost all woodworking operations, good mechanical properties.
Finally HART’s development engineers came to the most suitable selection: Jelutong wood (gen. Dyera costulata).
Jelutong is a hardwood that grows in the forests of Malaysia, Borneo and Sumatra and it is reported to have medium density.
It has four times higher bending, crushing and stiffness strength than balsa wood.
The strength/weight combination it gives to the lure is suitable for using it as a hard, easy casting saltwater Serial Killer.
Its finished surfaces are reported to be often clean and smooth, taking paintings and varnish very well.
HART´s paintings department improved the classic paintings of wooden lures by using the hi-end technics and finishes of our HART PRO COLLECTION´s hard plastic lures.
They have added hot colors over foiled layer, lifelike 3-D lazer eyes and scales.
We looked for the strongest saltwater tinned hooks and stainless steel split rings available.
The metal lips are stainless steel ones and its strength and action is tested one by one in our factory´s testing tank.
Our designers and craftsmen have experienced the pleasure of producing one of the most reliable wooden lures for saltwater.
Now is time for fishermen to fish HART!
